Southwest Premier Business Card offering 60K points
The Southwest Premier Business Card offers a bonus of 60,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points after spending $3,000 within the first three months.

Who is eligible for the Southwest Premier Business Card?
Who is eligible for the welcome bonus on the Southwest Premier Business Card? Southwest Airlines and Chase have several co-branded credit cards. As far as Southwest credit card eligibility requirements go, you’re not eligible for the bonus on this card if you currently have it, or if you’ve received a new cardmember bonus on this exact card in the past 24 months.
That means you’re eligible for the bonus on the card even if you have Southwest’s other business card, the Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Performance Business Credit Card (review).
Chase’s standard credit card application policies, including the 5/24 rule, apply.

Why the Southwest Premier Business Card is worth it
The Southwest Premier Business Card has a reasonable $99 annual fee, and offers a variety of perks that will offset that on an ongoing basis, including:
- 6,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points on your account anniversary every year, which should get you roughly $72 worth of airfare on Southwest
- Two EarlyBird check-ins per anniversary year, which can get you a better boarding position; this would ordinarily cost $15-25, so that’s potentially a $30-50 value
- 25% savings on inflight Wi-Fi and drink purchases, when you charge those purchases to your card
- Up to $500 in fee credits for points transfers every cardmember year; Southwest ordinarily charges one cent per point to transfer rewards to another member, so this allows you to transfer 50,000 Rapid Rewards points per year to someone else
- A rewards structure that includes 3x points on Southwest purchases, 2x points on Rapid Rewards points on hotel and rental car partner purchases, and 2x Rapid Rewards points on local transit and commuting, including rideshare
- The ability to have your spending count toward A-List elite status, as you earn 1,500 Tier Qualifying Points toward A-List for every $10,000 you spend on the card
If you fly Southwest with any frequency, the anniversary bonus points and EarlyBird check-ins should more than cover the annual fee on an ongoing basis.

Bottom line
The Southwest Premier Business Card has a bonus, whereby you can earn 60,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points.
Do you plan on picking up the Southwest Premier Business Card with 60K bonus points?
If you are looking for a long term companion pass (almost 2 full years), it makes more sense to apply for both a business card and a personal card in November or early December and complete your spending requirements in January.
The first two comments are excellent and important. Thanks to you both for catching this!
And, if you do hit the spend in 2023, then you only have the pass for 2024. Seems carefully timed, with the 8/28 end date, to prevent people from getting two years worth of the pass. I’d be interested to hear if people see a while to time the application and spending to have all the points hit in early 2024, so as to get the pass for two years.
if the first $3k bonus is awarded in 2023 then the $15k bonus is earned/awarded in 2024 (since you have 9 months) you'll only be half way there? seem the only way this works if you spend the entire $15k in 2023?
